Battery Powered Gripstick & Rotary Brush (RSL-1774)

The Battery Powered Gripstick & Rotary Brush is a portable, handheld tool with a modular design, allowing limitless customization and extension for various tasks. Modular, customizable underwater tooling for versatile applications.

Developed for the nuclear industry, this highly versatile equipment is perfect for marine and offshore applications. The Battery Powered system was developed to give operators a range of interchangeable tools. The system uses a sixteen-pin connector to power a combination of tools and cameras/lights. The battery pack has a second connector which allows video images to be broadcast to a monitor/recording system, so operators can see close up to the workface and also gives post-operations video. The tooling options range includes Grip (with a range of jaws and bespoke options available), Tilt, Cameras, Lights, Rotating Brushes, and Clamshell. The system can be extended using the RSL Interchangeable Powered Poles in combinations of 2 or 1m. All the tooling can be handheld or mounted to a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
